Mission Statement

We are “adding to life without taking from others” through the development,  construction, and operation of highly energy-efficient senior living centers served daily by a staff of expertly trained, caring individuals.

Distinguishing Features

  • Engineered wall system technology providing 40% more energy efficiency, reduced impact on environmental resources such as forest products, increased health advantage by eliminating occurrence of mold and spores in wall material.
  • Partnering with local senior ministry specialists in charities and faith-based ministries to provide quality life style care.
  • On-site Wellness Facilities are designed into the center with medical exam facilities to provide residents with access to medical providers without having to leave the center.
  • Rent subsidies are provided through Adding To’s give back fund which equals a substantial percent of facility monthly rental income to the senior ministry partner to use for rent subsidies and ministry programs.
  • Job Creation is provided through direct opportunities in the operation of the facilities equal to 80 full time employment opportunities.
  • Job Creation is provided through indirect opportunities through a job training and placement program operated by First Principles Contracting, a veteran owned training and development company focused on providing skilled workers in the energy efficient construction industry from the pool of working-able veterans.
  • High Demand is evidenced by 4 Arizona sites and ministry partners ready for immediate development.

  • The leadership team possesses a combined development and construction experience of 135 years and over a billion dollars in residential, multi-family, and commercial projects including senior care living centers.
  • Senior care facility operations are headed by our facility partners, operating and enhancing seniors lives since 1949.

Meet the Leadership

Paul Kalkbrenner
Founder and Chief Executive Servant

Paul Kalkbrenner is the founding member of Adding To, LLC, focused on development and construction management projects in the Southwest and Northwest He has more than 40 years of experience in projects including hotel, commercial, residential and convalescent care.

Kalkbrenner has focused on effective jobsite organization and communication through the practical application of quality assurance principles. He has extensive leadership experience in implementation of alliance teams in development and construction as CEO in both public and private companies. Prior to starting his own firm, Kalkbrenner was a partner in Integrated Stucco, LLC. Paul grew the company to over $52 million in sales within the first six months of opening the doors. As personnel increased from 24 to over 700 craftsmen, an offer to purchase the company was accepted and Paul took the position of the Executive Vice President/General Manager for the subsequent 12-month transition period. Before forming Integrated Stucco, Paul served as the Vice President of Construction for Shea Homes Arizona, one of the largest homebuilders in Phoenix. He joined Shea in 1992 as superintendent and moved into the position of trade and training advisor in 1994. He was promoted to Vice President of Construction in 1999. Under his leadership through 2004, Shea built over 7,800 homes producing revenues close to $2 billion

Michael Mancini
President and Founder of SoDella Construction

Mike is a Licensed Residential and Commercial General Contractor and registered Civil Engineer in the State of Arizona.  During his time with Meritage Homes, Arizona he expanded his role to national level covering 13 divisions in 7 states, tasked with the company-wide implementation of Meritage Homes’ Innovation, Home Performance and Sustainability Program.  From 2012-2017, Meritage constructed over 10,000 Energy Star homes under Mike’s direction.  Mike played an important role in all home design product development in the West region to ensure cost effectiveness and high customer value.  Responsible for the operations team, he focused on standards that created quality, consistency, accuracy and predictability to ultimately drive operation excellence in construction.

John McLinden Digibilt
President and CEO

John heads up Land Planning, Product Development, Construction Documents, Engineering, Digital Plans, Bill of Materials, Impact of Carbon Footprint.  A real estate developer / builder with 30 years of experience in commercial and residential construction, John is the originator of the nationally recognized mass-customization design approach, which has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, PBS Nightly Business Report, The Washington Post, Fortune magazine and the Today Show.

Mark Summers

Mark Summers has over 30 years’ experience in the real estate industry as a CFO and COO for both privately owned and publicly traded companies.  During this time frame he has been part of management teams that have delivered over 20,000 residential dwellings as well as several commercial projects including memory care facilities
